Divide you days between exploring the city or leisurely afternoons spent around the pool.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be swept away by The Rosewater House's warm character and high-end finishes. With charming details like a custom mosaic tile entry mat plus soaring 12-foot ceilings, French & Italian antique chandeliers, and rich original hardwood floors that lend historic gravitas to this circa 1839 home, while beautifully curated interiors—renovated in 2024—offer a sophisticated blend of old-world charm and contemporary design. The bright and airy living space flows effortlessly into a central dining room with a built-in cabinetry, setting the stage for intimate dinners or lively evenings with friends.

At the heart of the home lies a designer kitchen made for culinary adventures. Outfitted with farmhouse sink, marble counters, a gas range with a vented hood, custom cabinetry, and center island that seats three, the kitchen is both stunning and functional. Just beyond, French doors invite you into your own private sanctuary: a walled courtyard with a pristine heated saltwater pool/spa combo with fountain and an abundance of comfortable outdoor furnishings—an extraordinary find in downtown Charleston. A luxe sanctuary, the rear patio showcases a landscape design that includes citrus and olive trees, as well as insect repellent plants such as rosemary and lavender.

Each of the two upstairs bedrooms offers its own private ensuite bath, designed with spa-inspired finishes including seamless glass showers and soaking tubs. The expansive primary suite is a true haven, complete with KING bed, dual vanities and soaking tub, plus a separate dressing room with custom built-ins. A convenient half bath is tucked beneath the staircase, and the home’s first-floor washer and dryer make everyday living effortless.

Access
Each of our luxury vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided by your Concierge on the date of your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code on the day of your arrival as well.

Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure with these codes. Additionally, requests can be made for your Concierge to meet you at the property upon check-in. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

Our concierge team is committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities of your everyday home. With each stay you’ll enjoy high thread count linens, spa quality towels, hair dryer, ironing board, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker, kitchen cookware and utensils, shower toiletries and soaps, extra linens and towels, air conditioning, cable and wireless internet, and more. With our concierge services you can choose to have our team handle all the details of your trip. From stocking your refrigerator to reserving beach equipment, there isn’t much our Concierge team can’t help you with during your stay. And should you need any recommendations, it would be our pleasure to provide suggestions for restaurants, make reservations, organize activities, and answer any questions.

We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through Rental Guardian. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).

At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking. 

Minimum rental age is 25.
