You can start each morning with a walk along the shore, coffee in hand, or end the day watching the sun fade over the Atlantic. Spend fun-filled days in the pool or spa, and rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day on the beach.

The lush, private backyard is a haven that sets the stage for an unforgettable Isle of Palms getaway. Shady corners under a majestic oak tree and sun-filled spaces alike—both serve as an ideal backdrop for morning yoga around the pool, al fresco dining, or evening cocktails under the stars. The open-concept main living area features classic details like bead board ceilings, an abundance of comfortable seating, perfect for both gathering and unwinding, and seamless flow into a modern, well-equipped kitchen with dramatic soaring ceilings. Stainless steel appliances, a center island with bar seating for four, ample counter space, and generous cabinetry make it easy to prepare meals that family and friends will linger over around the dining table that seats eight or host casual happy hours with local oysters and rosé. 

The spacious primary suite is located on the main level and offers a serene retreat, appointed with a KING bed and its own private bath with soaking tub, separate shower and oversized walk-in closet. With direct access to the porch you can step outside to enjoy quiet mornings at dawn with a cup of coffee. Downstairs on the lower level, three more beautifully appointed bedrooms offer comfort and privacy for friends and family. Designed with plenty of space for family fun, the additional 3 bedrooms each have KING beds, and private, ensuite bathrooms and one bedroom even includes a QUEEN-sized Murphy bed. At the Josephine House you'll also find an elevator, powder room and laundry room. Each bedroom is equipped with a brand new smart TV. 

Just a short golf cart ride from the Isle of Palms Marina and Island 71, and the IOP Recreation Center, The Josephine House places you close to boating excursions, championship golf at Wild Dunes, and all the vibrant local dining the island has to offer. Islander 71, situated on the point where Morgan Creek meets the Intracoastal Waterway. Islander 71 is a sunset-lovers destination and offers spectacular water views.

Isle of Palms boasts some of the most popular restaurants and cafes east of the Cooper River, and the island offers a wide variety of delicious seafood and other local specialties, including Coda del Pesce, Coconut Joes Beach Grill, Acme Lowcountry Kitchen and the locally loved Sea Biscuit Cafe, that serves up only breakfast, but is well worth the wait. When the sun sets and the night is heating up, head to the ever popular beachfront bar The Windjammer. • Optional trip insurance is available through Rental Guardian—we recommend it, especially during hurricane season (June–November)
• Check-In 4:00 p.m. / Check-Out 10:00 a.m.
• 50% of Total Balance Due at Booking; Final Balance Due 30 Days Prior to Arrival
• If you are Booking within 30 days of your arrival, 100% is due at the time of Booking
• Family-friendly (No parties or events allowed)
• Strict noise ordinance enforced by the City of Isle of Palms; Violations will result in fines
• No smoking and No Pets (non-negotiable)
